23 Fields is a fearless folk band from Hastings, UK; Step Adams, Louise Driver and Jason M. Smith, whose music speaks straight to the soul. Blending raw emotion with political fire, their songs range from intimate reflections on love and loss to fierce critiques of modern life. With soaring harmonies, rich instrumentation, and storytelling at its core, their sound traverses folk, Americana, and indie rock with heartfelt authenticity.
Their debut album The World Is Raining (2023) made waves across the UK, US, and South Africa, earning international radio play and praise for its unflinching honesty. In 2024, they followed up with the powerful To Follow This Year’s Fashion, a 13-track journey that pushes creative and emotional boundaries. Produced by James McMillan, the album features standout tracks like Berlin, Scars, and Covered in Glue, each echoing the band’s commitment to truth and artistry. They have just finished recording their 3rd album The Vacant Stars of Wanderinfg Souls’.
